Book Folding

It has been a little quiet this past week so I thought I would have a go at learning a new skill.

Oh the joys of YouTube and the internet!

A little research and a trip to the charity shop for a suitably sized book and here is the result. I have to say I was more than a little impressed. The result is lovely and is now available for sale in the shop - a really different Valentines or Anniversary present.

I love learning new skills and have a great deal of patience when it comes to "fiddling" with things. What I liked most about this craft was the fact that it literally grew before my very eyes and although it looks quite complicated was actually quite easy to do. There are a lot of different designs that you can do too. You might well be seeing a few more appearing in the shop!
